Dr. Bikarna Kumar Ghosh joined Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park
Dr. Bikarna Kumar Ghosh joined the post of Managing Director of Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority. On Tuesday, officials of the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority greeted him with flowers. Hosne Ara Begum, the first managing director of Hi-Tech Park, then handed over the responsibility to him.
Meanwhile, the Director (Finance and Administration) of Hi-Tech Park Authority ANM Shafiqul Islam (Joint Secretary), Director (Technical) Syed Zahurul Islam (Joint Secretary) and all officials of Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority and all project directors and deputy -Managers were present.
At this time Dr. Bikarna Kumar Ghosh expressed his gratitude to all. He expressed his determination to work more dynamically in the coming days.
Earlier, a notification in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on May 30 by order of the President.
Bikarna Kumar Ghosh, Vice-president of Greater Jessore Samiti-Dhaka, was born in the village of Srirampur in Jhikargachha Upazila of the district. He grew up in the village. After passing HSC from Jessore MM College, he successfully passed MBBS from Rajshahi Medical College.
Dr. Bikarna Kumar Ghosh joined Khulna district administration in 1993 as Assistant Commissioner of Administration Cadre. After his colorful career, he held various administrative posts in Narail, Magura, Nilphamari, Rangamati, Mymensingh, Barguna and Gazipur districts. In 2006 he was promoted to the post of Deputy Secretary. Joint Secretary in 2016, Dr. Ghosh was promoted to Additional Secretary in 2019. Most recently, he served as Additional Secretary in the Department of Information and Communication Technology.
Bikarna Kumar Ghosh received an MPH from the University of New South Wales in Australia, e-Government Leadership from the National University of Singapore, a Post Graduate Diploma in ICT from Sweden, and advanced training in Project Management from Stanford University.
